
Meet the baker
I’m Harriet, the designer behind Studio18.
I started Studio18 from a love of creating cakes that feel a bit different - less traditional, more considered, and designed to stand out for the right reasons.
What I enjoy most is the design process. Taking an idea, a colour palette or a set of flowers, and turning that into something that feels cohesive and well thought through. I've always enjoyed working with flowers and find that clients love the fact the whole cake is edible. I create with palette knives and chocolate ganache it allows for more freedom in design, without the need for fresh flowers or heavy fondant finishes.
Everything is made by hand in my Haslemere studio, from the baking through to the final details. I work closely with each client to make sure the design feels right for the occasion, but I’ll also guide where needed - especially when it comes to scale, proportions and what works best in practice.
Alongside how the cakes look, I put just as much focus on how they taste. I want them to be enjoyed, not just photographed.

Allergens & dietary requirements
Designed and baked in Haslemere, Surrey
I’m happy to accommodate certain dietary requirements where possible, including gluten-free and nut-free wedding cakes and celebration cakes. Each cake is made to order, and I’ll always discuss any specific needs with you to ensure the best possible result.
While nut-free cakes can be made, my kitchen is not a nut-free environment, so I’m unable to guarantee the complete absence of traces. If you have any allergies or concerns, please do get in touch to discuss them before ordering.
